Spinal Injuries Ireland, was founded in 1993 to promote the welfare and provide a resource facility for people who have sustained a spinal cord injury and their families.
Situated in the grounds of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dún Laoghaire, SII deals with both the emotional and practical issues of the individual who has sustained the spinal injury and their family on a daily basis.
Although we have gained some significant achievements, the reality is, there is still a long way to go before we will achieve the ultimate goal of true social inclusion for people with disability.
