Description

The Irish Hospice Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the hospice philosophy and supports the development of hospice care.

Our vision is that no one should have to face death without appropriate care and support. This includes support for families and loved ones, extending into bereavement.

Services
The Irish Hospice Foundation’s stated objective is ‘to facilitate the practice of hospice care in all its aspects’. All our services are geared towards this end.

More concretely, these services aim to support the work of those who directly provide hospice and palliative care services; to identify areas of need and to pioneer new initiatives aimed at the long-term development of hospice care, to the benefit of the sector as a whole.
