IDAirish dental association

Description
The Irish Dental Association as it is now constructed was formed in 1922 as the direct successor to the now defunct Irish branch of the British Dental Association. In the course of the last 79 years or so the Association has been linked with many changes and innovations in the advance of dentistry in Ireland, working to promote the advancement of the interests of the dental profession and promoting the well-being of our country’s population through the attainment of optimum oral health. Present day membership numbers over 1200.

The IDA’s structure is primarily based on each individual member having ready access to his/her local branch, national council and to the full-time professional secretariat. The Association provides both collective and individual services for IDA members only.
