The Bereavement Counselling Service, which is non-denominational, offers confidential counselling on a one-to-one basis by trained counsellors. It also has a specially trained counsellors to facilitate grieving children. Although the Service is free of charge, donations are welcome as they are the chief source of income to meet administrative expenses.

The Bereavement Counselling Service is there to listen and provide support as you struggle with your grief. In our modern world just surviving can be hard work. It is doubly hard to pull yourself out of an emotional trough but it is not impossible. Each time you cope with a crisis and make a major decision you will feel good about yourself. When you reach a goal you will gain satisfaction and self-assurance through your own competence. With time and great effort you will recover and lead a full and rewarding life once again.
The Bereavement Counselling Service offers support and counselling to enable people deal with their grief. This applies not only to those directly bereaved through death, stillbirth, miscarriage, abortion etc., but also to those whose lives are affected by the losses of those near to them. The basic service consists of one-to-one counselling by appointment. Volunteers may also be available for telephone and emergency counselling sessions. Counsellors also give talks on bereavement to various groups in the community.
