All the staff in Maple Ward are fantastic. My mum died there recently and in the days leading up to her death and on the day she died, the dignity and respect they treated us with was amazing. Also the kindness shown to me as I stayed at the hospital for three nights. They are amazing

Dr Kenneth Bolger, Respiratory Connolly Hospital - always goes an extra mile (or two) to ensure great quality of care and goes above and beyond his call of duty to assist in any way he can. Couldn't ask for better. Fantastic! Also the reception staff in Respiratory - to deal with such helpful and courteous people makes such a difference.

The nurses in the respiratory department are excellent. Top class. She explained everything to me in a clear and understandable manner. Unlike the doctors. I was able to use oxygen without any difficulties after speaking with teh nurse specialist. Great nurses in there.

Dr. Kenneth Bolger Respiratory Dept Connolly Hosp. He is extremely professional in his dealings but yet easy to comprehend. Has a great ear for listening and easy to talk to and would make an excellent team leader. Cannot thank him enough for helping as he is my rock when nobody else wants to know the situation.

I would like to commend Dr. Ken Bolger, Respiratory Dept. Connolly Hospital for his care and attention also for his time and understanding. He has been so obliging and helpful and has a great manner. It is a pleasure to be his patient considering the pressure he can be under. He always listens and still makes time for a laugh and joke and brightens up the day. A wonderful doctor who will go places.

Dr Faul and Dr Cormican were both very courteous, kind and good at explaining things to me. The nurses and staff in Elm ward were exceptional, both in their care of me and other patients in the ward, nothing was too much trouble, despite it being a very busy ward. I also met some lovely, polite student doctors and nurses. I would also like to thank the A & E staff, despite being extremely busy, they quickly got me feeling more comfortable and I was treated very well by all of the staff. Thanks again to all concerned.

Valerie Connolly oncology nurse, Mr Edhmard Mulligan, general surgeon. My reason is that they are so nice and human and their explanation of things is so good and they are always available to speak to you. Especially Valerie, her genuine interest in the care of a patient is outstanding and I would like to say from talking to people in the waiting area they all have a very high regard for her and its a credit to her and the team she works with.
