All the nursing staff in both the antenatal and postnatal wards were great. They really couldn't do enough for me. I was a first time mum (Sep 2011) and I went through a difficult labour which ended in a C-section however all staff made the experience of the birth of my son very special. My anesthetist Omar was particularly pleasant and the doctor that performed the C- section (young lady doctor) was brilliant at her job.

Tracey (nurse from England worked in Southampton) works on ante natal ward - absolute angel. Fantastic nurse. Tracey is exactly what a nurse should be, so kind, courteous, knowledgable, conscientious. Tracey made me feel so safe and well minded.

Triona, nurse in paediatric unit, Mullingar Hospital on Thursday 3 to Friday 4 November 2011 remained professional, caring, informative, approachable and most of all human in difficult and demanding circumstances. She made a worrying situation with my child that bit easier to deal with and I thank her profusely for her wonderful attitude and care.

I was in for a gynae procedure and the radiologist and the nurse that I met were so lovely. It was very invasive and unpleasant and they were so supportive. I don't know the names of the nurses or the radiologist but they were just brilliant.

Dr Hoashi, Consultant Endocrinologist. Who decided to start investigative tests on me whilst I was awaiting an appointment at another hospital. (I had been symptomatic for 14 months by this time). It was due to his actions that my bladder cancer was found earlier than it could have been. For this, I will be eternally grateful.

The midwives and nurses in the maternity unit are exceptional. Their level of expertise, care and professionalism is outstanding. They understood me and my needs. They helped me to achieve a normal delivery without intervention I am so happy. They are more tuned into women's needs than the doctors.
