Maternity staff here are generally outstanding. I have had three babies here and one miscarriage and have only met one or two who could have improved their bedside manner!! However I must say in the main, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else in the future to have another baby. Professional and kind staff.

I had an ectopic pregnancy all of the nursing staff were so good and kind to both myself and my husband. Dr Naveed and his secetary also so kind and very sensitive to our situation. In particular I would like to thank the nurses in the Early Pregnancy Unit especially Patricia who explained everything to me, she also follow up with me on my after care and nothing was a problem for her to do. Just want to say that I appreciated the time and care she provided to me.

I forget the ladies names at the CT dept and also the nurses and the CT procedure staff, all female, however I was given the most excellent, caring and professional treatment while I was there. Although I was there for about a hour, I felt that I was treated with respect and would love to thank them even more. They had a smile on their faces and that give me a sense of happiness. Thank God my scan came back perfectly healthy and I can't thank them enough for their lady-like manner in the way they treated me.

I was in A&E on a trolley for a number of nights and saw just how bad it was for the nurses and all staff to work under such terrible conditions. Not enough staff to patient ratio but their care was second to none. The Staff Nurse who did the twilight shift whose name I cannot remember was so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Male Nurse David who had such a cheery nature and made you laugh - how he did that working in the conditions he did I don't know. The cleaners Maura and Carmel who help out getting towels and a friendly word. When I finally got a bed the nurses on the ward were also busy but so welcoming especially Care assistant Majella (I think that was her name but I was so ill and tired I may be wrong). Staff Nurse Victoria the next morning was so caring and cheerful even though the ward was so busy and even took me for a shower when she could easily have given me a bowl. Jackie the cleaner who keep the place spotless. These are just a few of the staff I wish to nominate but all the staff in both departments were excellent.

Am sorry but can't remember the nurse's name but she was on day duty while I was in maternity from 14th jan to 16th jan, think my room was 263, was a 3-bed ward. She was very kind with the time she took with me and also when my family came to visit.
