377 people does not give a fair representation of the student population in Ireland, also it's a funny number to question so did they actually ask 400 but to get the magic number of 2 in 3 they through out 23 questionaires? also before ye look at the results and say "jaysus, the young people of Ireland today, all they do is drink and ride, it's only shockin'!" take into account that students can and will lie on these questionaires, ask an 18 year old male did he ever have casual sex, do you honestly think he'll say no?

totally alcohol related-ive been there first hand and no doubt without the influence of alcohol, protection would have been used

I my opinion, I think that alot of people are unable to have sex sober. People need to be more open about sex and their body. If it didnt seem taboo or something to be ashamed of alcohol would not be needed.

I'd well believe it, I am a student myself and I see it a lot. Alcohol yes but also a complete lack of self respect..

Alcohol consumption - or over consumption seems to play a big part in this.
