tests for pregnancy

My wife got a pack of about 50 tests online for fairly cheap. Handy if you're trying and you want to check regularly. Not as fancy as clear blue, they're literally just a thin strip of card with a line on them. Cheaper than getting a clear blue every time

It seems ridiculous but a lot of GPs don't use the most up-to-date pregnancy tests. Did he just dip a little colour strip in your urine and wait for it to change colour? The same thing happened to me. Tested positive, doc's test said no, but he told me to come back the following week as I probably was - he said his test wasn't as sensitive! And low and behold the following week, it showed up (although very weakly) on his test. I think 5 clearblues has given you your answer - congrats:-)
