hi

i have osteophina in my spine and hips. im in pain a lot, but i have never heard about that medication, hope u dont mind me asking how old is your ma, xxxx

Hello everyone

My mum has quite bad osteoporosis in her spine and her consultant has just advised her to start on Forsteo. It seem to be a great drug for building your bones back up again but with the significant risk of also causing bone cancer which obviously throws a certain amount of cold water on the idea of taking this drug.

I've been trying to some research as to how significant this risk is so was wondering if anybody knows much about it, or if there is anybody here who has taken this drug and what their experience was/is?
