New mental health resource

Mental Health Ireland (MHI), the country's largest voluntary body promoting positive mental health, has launched a new website www.mentalhealthireland.ie

The newly-revamped website includes general information about mental health; what Mebntal Health Ireland does; news andevents volunteering; and publications.

Mental Health Ireland is a national voluntary organisation which was established in 1966 as the Mental Health Association of Ireland.

There are 104 local Mental Health Associations (MHAs) currently affiliated to Mental Health Ireland.

Local MHAs are active in assisting to meet the mental health needs of the population of their own areas. MHI is affiliated to the World Federation for Mental Health and to Mental Health Europe.
