March of solidarity for abused

Survivors of child abuse committed by religious orders in 216 institutions are holding a silent March of Solidarity in Dublin tomorrow, starting at noon.

The march route will be from the Garden of Remembrance in Parnell Square to the Dail.

Outside the Dail at 1pm, Christine Buckley, John Kelly, Noel Barry and Michael O'Brien will present a petition of solidarity to the religious orders' representative group CORI and representatives of the 18 religious orders who signed the indemnity deal, who have been invited to accept it at 1pm.

The online petition can be signed by clicking on...http://www.irishsolidarity.com/site/

The march is being organised by Survivors of Institutional Abuse Ireland (SOIAI).
