Quinn cover renewed for St Pat's

Quinn Healthcare says it has renewed its cover agreement for treatment at St Patrick's Psychiatric Hospital in Dublin.

Earlier this month, the insurer announced that it had not been able to renew its contract for cover with St Patrick's.

However, it announced today that it had resolved its contractual issues with the hospital and the new cover agreement will take effect immediately.

According to Quinn, members who underwent treatment at St Patrick's in the interim period between the termination of the previous contract at the end of last month and the new contract can be assured that they are covered.

The insurer said it had reached agrement with the hospital which was satisfactory to both parties and gave value and choice for its customers.
