Thailand - do I need to be vaccinated?

I am going to Thailand in the beginning of September. Do I need any injections before I go? And how long before I go should I take them?

It would be wise to see your GP or travel vaccination clinic without further delay. Ideally travel vaccinations should be administered 4 to 6 weeks prior to departure. It is not mandatory for you to be vaccinated especially if you are staying a short while in high-class conditions. However it would be wise to ensure that your vaccination status for diphtheria, polio and tetanus are up to date. It is arguable if it is necessary to be vaccinated against typhoid and hepatitis c but you should seriously consider hepatitis b vaccination.
