Diaphragm - available where?

Where in Dublin is it possible to obtain a diaphragm?

A diaphragm is a soft and flexible rubber cup that is filled with spermicidal jelly and self inserted to cover the cervix prior to engaging in sexual intercourse. The device is left in place for a couple of hours after intercourse. Diaphragms come in a variety of sizes and it is necessary to be examined by a doctor or nurse in order to establish which size of diaphragm is required. It is also important that the person be properly instructed in the correct method of insertion of the device. This service can be provided in a GPs surgery or a family planning clinic. Once the person knows which size diaphragm fits best the device can be ordered through a local pharmacy. Many pharmacies carry a range of sizes as standard stock and can usually supply the device off the shelf. However, if the item is not in stock it can usually be obtained from a wholesaler on a same day basis. Two important considerations in relation to the diaphragm; firstly it provides very little protection against STDs and they have a significant failure rate in women who have a number of children.
