Pregnant - baby is due when?

I am pregnant and wish to know my due date. The date of the first day of my last period is 18/12/2002.

It is important to realise that the expected date of delivery is an approximation. The calculation is based on the date of the first day of your last menstrual period. If you add 7 to the day and 9 to the month that will give you the E.D.D. (expected date of delivery). Using that simple formula we can predict that your expected date of delivery will be the 25/09/2003. The total interval of time between the L.M.P. (last menstrual period) and the E.D.D. is forty weeks and you are now on your sixth week post L.M.P. As you progress through your pregnancy the midwives and doctors will be counting in weeks and not months. Remember that when we speak of the number of weeks gestation that we are referring to the L.M.P. and not the date of conception.
