STD - wart on foreskin?

My husband recently had a wart on his penis at the tip of the foreskin. It was whitish grey in colour and looked like a common wart. Could this have been a skin blemish or could it have been sexually transmitted. It went away on its own after a week or so. Can you explain this?

The fact that your husband had a wart-like lesion on his foreskin does not mean that he acquired it through sexual contact. It is also a little unusual for a wart to disappear after such a short interval of time, which raises the question if it could have been some other type of skin blemish. It is not possible for me to give an expanded answer on this topic because we donít have a diagnosis. Speculation about possible diverse forms of skin lesion might not be helpful.
