Low blood pressure - treatment?

I am 31 years old and have been getting palpitations and it was suggested that I have my blood pressure checked. It was 115/61. This seems low. What is it a sign of and what are the treatments available to treat this.

Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day depending on your level of physical activity. I would not regard 115/61 as being unduly low and would certainly not act on the basis of one measurement. It would be reasonable to check your blood pressure again on two separate occasions and compare the results with the previous measurement. If these two further measurements are higher again then no further action is needed.
