The pill - drug interactions?

Can I take aspirin, paracetamol or iron tablets while on the Pill?

There are no difficulties with drug interactions between the drugs you mention and the contraceptive pill. The principle drug interaction that you need to be aware of concerns antibiotic usage while using the pill. Antibiotics can reduce the amount of hormones in the pill that are absorbed into the bloodstream, which results in a lower level of drug being available in the system for contraceptive effect. In other words antibiotics do not interact with the pill in the bloodstream but rather it reduces the amount of pill that is absorbed. However, your question raises a basic question in my mind; why are you taking these three different drugs? Self–medicating to this degree is a questionable practice in an otherwise healthy person.
