Headache - is it migraine?

I have been getting very bad headaches for a couple of months. I feel nauseous with the headache, and my face feels numb. Sometimes even my left arms hurts. What can this be? Surely even migraines donít occur this regularly?

The symptom pattern sounds very much like migraine and as many migraine sufferers will testify the symptoms can occur very frequently. Some sufferers experience numbness and loss of power in their limbs and on occasion this can be so severe that the sufferer may fear that they are actually experiencing a stroke. I would advise that you visit your GP in order to have the diagnosis confirmed. If my clinical suspicion is correct and you do have migraine you may find it useful to visit the website of the Migraine Association of Ireland at: http://www.migraine.ie/.
