The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has one respite residential service, which is available at the Blackrock Day Care Centre in Co. Dublin. The service operates from Monday morning to Friday evening, offering the carer a rest and a break. The Society plans to develop more respite centres and establish home-based respite services in the future.
